Decatur, IL - The WSOY Community Food Drive is coming up on Thursday, October 3rd, and we need dedicated volunteers to answer phones — and keep the donations flowing!

Our Phone Bank Volunteers will be stationed on-site upstairs at Kroger in Airport Plaza from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., taking pledges and payments from generous donors throughout the day. This is a great way to make a big impact without lifting heavy boxes and staying off your feet. Volunteers can sign up for 3-hour shifts.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Answering incoming calls from donors

  • Collecting important information like names, contact info, and donation details

  • Keeping accurate, legible records for every pledge

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Legible handwriting and strong attention to detail

  • Comfortable handling sensitive donor information

  • Attend a mandatory training session on Wednesday, September 25th at 11 a.m.

If you want to be part of the team that keeps the WSOY Community Food Drive running smoothly, this is your chance!

Sign up today and help make October 3rd another record-breaking day for fighting hunger in our community.
