What We do
The WSOY Community Food Drive is a volunteer-based annual event in Decatur, Illinois, dedicated to fighting hunger and supporting local food pantries. Held each October, the drive mobilizes schools, businesses, and community members to collect food and monetary donations, supplying food for nearly every food pantry in Decatur. What began as a grassroots effort has grown into one of the largest single-day food drives in the country, raising millions of pounds of food in its 20-year history. Thanks to the support of our sponsors, every dollar raised goes to the cause.
THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORs
Thanks to our presenting sponsors and community partner, we can ensure that every dollar raised goes to the purchase of food for our local pantries.
