The WSOY Community Food Drive is back, and schools across Macon County have an incredible opportunity to make a lasting impact in the fight against hunger—while also competing for big rewards!

Thanks to our generous community partners, the top five schools that raise the most food and dollars will win cash prizes. And thanks to the Heart of Illinois Community Foundation, this year’s prizes have been doubled:

• 1st Place: $5,000

• 2nd Place: $3,000

• 3rd Place: $2,000

• 4th Place: $1,500

• 5th Place: $1,000

Last year’s competition was fierce, with St. Teresa High School once again taking home the top prize of $5000. Mt Zion High School was close behind in second place, followed by St Patrick School in 3rd, Our Lady of Lourdes in 4th, and Maroa Forsyth in 5th. Who will take the prizes this year?
