ADM TURNS SERVICE INTO IMPACT

Through its Acts for Impact campaign, volunteer efforts and a 2:1 ADM Cares match for WSOY Community Food Drive donations, ADM is expanding its commitment to communities at home and around the world.

Decatur, IL - When a community comes together to help others, every act of service matters. A volunteer hour, a box of food, a meal packed for a child across the world or a donation made to help a local family facing hunger can all become part of something much bigger.

For ADM, that spirit of service is being put into action this fall through Acts for Impact, the company’s global volunteer campaign—and through a longstanding commitment to fighting hunger around the world and in the Decatur community.

Launching its second year in 2026, Acts for Impact brings ADM colleagues together across the company’s global footprint to participate in meaningful volunteer opportunities. This year, the campaign has expanded from a one-week initiative to a six-week effort running from September 1 through World Food Day on October 16, giving more employees an opportunity to get involved. The goal is ambitious: ADM hopes to host 130 volunteer events around the world and increase colleague participation to 8%.

But for Decatur, the impact is already underway.

A Local Focus

While Acts for Impact connects ADM employees to communities around the globe, the company’s commitment to service also has a distinctly local focus.

ADM has been a supporter of the WSOY Community Food Drive since its inception more than 25 years ago. Last year, ADM’s support helped provide more than 10,000 meals to area food banks, while employees contributed approximately 300 volunteer hours. This year, ADM plans to take that involvement even further.

ADM colleagues across the Decatur are participating in an onsite food drive, with collection bins and drop-off locations established throughout ADM facilities. The company is also increasing its financial support of the Food Drive.

Through ADM Cares, donations made by ADM colleagues to the 2026 WSOY Community Food Drive will receive a 2-to-1 match, up to $25,000. The company is encouraging colleagues to make their donations through a designated ADM/WSOY Community Food Drive fundraising page, allowing those individual contributions to be combined into an even greater community impact.

Turning Time Into Impact

ADM Cares also recognizes the value of an employee’s time. Through its Volunteer Impact Grant program, ADM Cares contributes $10 for every volunteer hour logged by an ADM colleague.

ADM collegues who would like to volunteer for the WSOY Community Food Drive can do so through the Volunteer portal, where they will find an option to identify themselves as an ADM collegue.

It is another way ADM connects employee involvement with community support: the more colleagues give their time, the more resources can flow back into the organizations and communities they serve.

That philosophy is at the heart of Acts for Impact.

What began as a one-week pilot in 2025 has grown into a much larger global effort in 2026. ADM is encouraging participation from employees across its operations and corporate facilities, with volunteer opportunities planned in communities throughout North America and around the world.

The campaign also places an emphasis on making participation easier for employees, particularly those working at ADM plants and operational facilities, while encouraging leaders to participate alongside their teams.

For ADM, community impact isn't limited to one event, one donation or one day of service.

It is built through thousands of individual actions—employees giving their time, resources and energy to make a difference.

And in Decatur, that impact can be seen both in meals packed for children around the world and in food, funding and volunteer hours helping local families facing hunger.

This fall, ADM is showing what can happen when those individual acts of service come together.

One colleague. One volunteer hour. One donation. One community—and a much bigger impact.
